Owner Pervez and his wife opened Punjab Sweets in 2012. Pervez, known to locals as Mian Saab, got his roots in cooking from his homeland. Growing up in Punjab he learned how to cook from his father who also owned a sweets and snacks shop at the time. Pervez was able to follow in his fathers footsteps and open his very own sweet shop, naming it after the region he grew up in.
